The President's Cup

These notes are intended to clarify the rules and conditions.

1 - Firearms:

Any muzzle-loading revolver or pistol AND any .22 rifle older than 100 years without optical sights.

2 - Conditions:

  • Six shots with pistol at supplied Frenchman target - 20 points per hit

  • Ten shots with .22 rifle at supplied 5 Bull target, two rounds per Bull

  • Elbows may be rested, but no other support permitted

  • Outward scoring applies (cut the line to count)

3 - Number of Competition Entry Attempts:

There is no limit to the number of times a competitor may shoot the match, but any re-shoot cancels any previous shoot.

4 - Firearm Availability:

Firearms may be borrowed, so if you want to shoot and have no suitable equipment, get borrowing.
